Hong Kong is a veritable melting pot of different nationalities and cultures. It has a very distinct charm, the memory of which will stay with you long after you have left its steamy waters. It is a city that never seems to stop expanding upward and outward and is one of the largest cities in South East Asia. It boasts a thriving cultural scene, solid infrastructure, robust public transportation system and some of the most incredible dining in the world.

It is also a great place to do business. It is a leading international trading, finance and service hub and was ranked the third most competitive location in the world for business and government efficiency and gives most other global destinations a run for their money when it comes to economic performance.

Hong Kong is probably less well known as a world leader in education. However,  there are in fact more than 50 international schools in Hong Kong and its universities are increasing in the world rankings all the time, with three universities in the top 50 worldwide, which is more than any other country in Asia.

Hong Kong is also a great place to go if you are looking to study languages. Try doing a search in Google for 'Hong Kong languages School' and it will throw back around 25 million results. Obviously that doesn't mean there are that many language schools in Hong Kong but it does give you some indication as to the amount of language learning providers there are there.
